Next, we started acquiring content and making movies to share stories of the African diaspora

"Blackout" is the title of the first feature film that our founder, Judith Aidoo, produced in a collaboration between Urban Entertainment and Caswell Communications. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2008 and featured many of today's leading black actors and entertainers.

We plan to release a behind the scenes documentary on the making of "Blackout", as well as to re-issue the movie on leading digital platforms. Urban Entertainment also has rights to, and will widely distribute, its animated series and intellectual property aimed at the global urban audience.
